Zaheer Gulamhusein

Zaheer Gulamhusein is an Ismaili who has spent a large part of his life studying and exploring esotericism, and is particularly interested in its influence on art and culture. He completed his MA in Western Esotericism at Exeter University in 2008, where he specialised in Iamblichean theurgy. Having written articles for specialised occult publishers on subjects including Sufism & Hermeticism, recent focus has turned towards the use of sound as a means of effecting universal change. Zaheer produces, releases and performs electronic music as XVARR and lives with his wife Egypte Erotique in London, UK.
