BIOGRAPHY
Tifaine Bachet is a PhD student from the doctoral school of Literature, Languages, Linguistics and Arts at The University of Lyon 2, France. She divides her time between The University of Lyon 2, where she conducts her research on female British Surrealism (with a particular focus on Ithell Colquhoun) under the supervision of Professor Didier Girard, and The University of Tours, where she holds a teaching fellow position in English. In her first publication, she also examines the works of Ithell Colquhoun but looks at them with a view to Colquhoun’s engagement with parody. Tifaine Bachet, ‘Parody and Femininity in British Surrealism (Ithell Colquhoun and Leonora Carrington)’, Polysèmes, vol. 23 (2020) https://journals.openedition.org/polysemes/7671.
