Stephen Alexander is a London-based writer with a PhD in modern European philosophy and literature.
He is the author of several books and blogs at torpedotheark.blogspot.co.uk. His research interests include art, fashion, and forms of perverse materialism. His work has been influenced by Nietzsche, D. H. Lawrence, Malcolm McLaren, and Larry David.
Like the latter, he would describe his intellectual project as an attempt to curb enthusiasm.
