BIOGRAPHY
Stefanie Elrick is a writer, artist and performer from Manchester, UK with an MA in Performance, Screen and Visual Studies. Throughout her twenties she created fantasy stage shows for the likes of Hawkwind, The Levellers and Peaches Christ and devised the immersive LABOLIS theatre series.
In collaboration with Loren Fetterman, as a performance artist, she’s blood-lined love poetry into her skin during Written in Skin, been strapped to a spinning 12ft alternative timepiece for KAIROS, and devised solo work such as ReInState :: A Mirror Ritual for the Trans-States Magickal Conference in 2016.
She made her writing debut in Martain Migraine Press’s Cthulhusattva: Tales of the Black Gnosis and has since appeared in Apex Magazine, Comet Press and most recently won Forbidden Future’s Weird Fiction Write Off.
Stefanie has guest lectured at Manchester University, Northampton University and Wimbledon Art College and is fascinated by embodied wisdom, the language of the flesh and its many rites of passage.
